My Animal Team

Because we never walk alone...

 

May I introduce my animal to you?

 What would I be without my beloved animal family? Everyone has it`s own character. So my team is influenced by different personalities and everyone has his/her own purpose.

They guide me, help me, confuse me, scare me, bring love and joy and are my teachers. Also my reflection, my mirror.

But the most beautiful thing they can do - be as lovely, healthy and happy as they can.

Sunny -Chief of Duty

Choosed himself to be the swarm boss (after our Romeo left us in 2021).

At least that's what he thinks.🥰 (But the real boss is Piepsie)

Sunny likes to flirt with Lilly.

Sometimes he gets tooooo cheeky.

But Lilly...well, if it`s enough, she will show him, who ´s the boss. Sunny needs to take care of everyone and to check out that everything is alright in "his" flock.

Sweety is his best friend. Both of them love  to "fly"  a race through the living room. Task: Chief of Duty🥰

 

Piepsie - Queen of all

 Piepsie is the real boss here.🥰 Piepsie has been here the longest. She can do everything and knows everything. She has already experienced so much and nothing can really shake her. She likes it quiet, shredding cork bathing. Piepsie is an excellent flyer and always has the "wise look". Like an Owl.😁 I think she understands us humans in a very special way. There is only one thing she does not like: visits to the vet. She can scream and bite into a finger. Like an eagle! Task: The Queen.

 

 

Sweety - Peacemaker

Sweety is the lovely one, the quiet one in the flock. (ok, unless he wants out of the cage and it's not fast enough)

He is so social, always wants to mediate and takes care of everyone.🥰

He is super intelligent.

When he arrived at our place, he knew his way around the living room right after an hour.

As if he had been there for years. Sweety loves to sleep in his foodbowl. For whatever reason.😁

Task: Spreading love and peace.

 

Lilly - Apprentice

  Lilly is already with 9 years a little lady but she will always remain my little chick. Lilly is in a relationship with Sunny, but she also likes Sweety. Piepsie is her best friend. When they're not bitching at each other, they sit comfortably next to each other and tell each other Lady- Stories. Lilly is responsible for relaxation and meditation. Movement is not her thing. But chilling out is. So, no stress, please. She can only get really angry if someone tries to get at her food.😁😍 Then it`s over and done. Task: Realaxtion-and meditation teacher.

Gone- but not forgotten

With a heavy heart I´d like to introduce my rainbow-team to you. 

They are not gone - they only live in another dimension

Bubi

Bubi was our little angel who flew from heaven. In fact, at that time I had wished for another bird and asked the universe to help me. Promptly my neighbor rang the doorbell a few weeks later: A budgie landed at her place. Since then Bubi lived with us. Where exactly he came from and what happened to him he never told. But we had the feeling that he felt very comfortable with us.
Bubi was a very quiet, decent little budgie. Always nicely dressed, with his blue vest and panties. That's what his feathers looked like. Like a little cloud. And always friendly, calm and reserved. Except: when he (and all) should stay in the cage. Then he could squeeze himself very cheeky and fast through the cage door and away he was ..his love of freedom was just immeasurable. And: Visitor had to go punctually at 6.00 pm. If not there was a high flyer over the heads. Top gun was nothing against Bubi in the drive someone away mode. Bubi had gone, as well as Romeo, with scarcely 12years, within three days. In the middle of the night his little heart stopped beating and he flew into the rainbow land. It went so terribly fast. We miss you so much, little darling.😭💔

Romeo

Romeo was our boss in the flock. He was Piepsie`s spouse ( after he had stolen her from Bubi, because Romeo`s former girlfriend Quietschie flew to Rainbowland. And: Romeo had also stolen Quietschie from Bubi, when Romeo`s Giulia flew to Rainbowland) and lived up to his name. Every budgie girl was HIS!!
But at the same time he was also Bubi`s best buddy and together they played many tricks.Romeo was cheeky, shrewd and witty - a clever little fellow who sometimes didn't know where to put his masculinity. But he also had the gene to take care of others. He comforted everyone, built them up and always tried to keep the flock harmonious. 
Romeo was caring, always had the say and was simply - simply HE. He was always very good at having a "big beak" and telling his humans what to do or not to do. Then he made himself very big with his long, little, legs and mimed the eagle. 
Romeo left us at the age of almost 12 years. I could hardly cope with the way he died and his quick demise.
I still can`t believe that you are gone.
We miss you.😭💔

Lore

Lore is 42 years young and was confiscated due to poor keepig conditions.
Lore can not fly and one of her feet is a bit bent. But she is still beautiful and just to love.  She prefers staying in her cage. Sometimes she climbs out to sit anywhere and being free. Lore likes fruits and she likes to be fed by hand. Sometimes, when no one is listening, I sing to her. She then becomes very quiet and listens attentively. 

 

Merlin

 Merlin came from not so good keeping conditions. He was a "difficult case". What is hardly imaginable. Merlin is the most chilled creature at all. And he has his own mind: if he doesn't want to go for a walk, he lies down and only gets up with a lot of persuasion. Just Camelites. He is a dreamer and doesn't like stress. Maybe that's why we fit so well together?

Pablo

Pablo: His young life wasn´t that easy. He looked like a small deer, was delicate and quite underdeveloped for a small bull. Uneconomical for the industry, a sad fate would have awaited him. 
Fortunately, he will never have to experience this and can grow old in his pasture with his buddies. If you want to help me to support him with food, vet. costs, etc. you can contact me.


Evans Head CW

Evans Head: The young male koala was observed walking in circles and was brought into Friends of the Koala in Lismore for assessment. He was called Cangleska Wakan which means sacred circle but staff call him CW for short. On examination CW was found to have a ruptured left eye and minor limb injuries - consistent with being hit by a car.

Cami

 Came came at the age of 21 years to Animal Tracks inc., in April 2016 from private owners, who could no longer care for her. She is a beautiful, very amusing and talkative bird. She is also quite the head-banger – she loves to dance and sing to heavy metal!
