About Reiki Life Force Energy

The Japanese term “Reiki” literally means “

universal life energy” or “mental/spiritual life energy”. It is made up of the words “rei” (universal, spirit, soul) and “ki” (life energy, similar to Chinese qi).

Rei: Stands for “universal” or “spirit/soul”.

Ki: Stands for “life energy” or “energy”.

Taken together, the term describes the idea of a universal, cosmic energy that flows through all life

When is Cosmic Animal Reiki used?

Cosmic Animal Reiki can be helpful when your animal:

shows stress, nervousness, anxiety or jumpiness
has experienced trauma, unstable environments or life in shelters / rescue situations
struggles with adaptation in a new home or after a change (new family, move, new animals)
is a senior animal and needs support with exhaustion, pain, decline of vitality or end-of-life care
has behavioral changes (withdrawal, aggression, over-attachment, tension, restlessness)
needs support after injuries, illness or surgery
is generally very sensitive, shy, easily overwhelmed
simply needs more balance, calm and emotional stability

It can also be used preventively, to promote long-term well-being and support a balanced nervous system – especially important for sensitive species and rescue animals.

Which animals is it suitable for?

Cosmic Animal Reiki is suitable for all animals – but it is particularly beneficial for:

Birds (parrots, budgies, cockatiels, etc.):
Their highly sensitive nervous system often reacts strongly to stress, noise, changes and human emotions. Reiki supports calm, regulation and a feeling of safety.
Exotic animals (reptiles, small exotics, sensitive species):
These animals often show stress in very subtle ways. Gentle, non-invasive energy work can help them relax without handling or overwhelming them.

Rescue animals & shelter animals:
Animals from rescue backgrounds often carry past experiences, fear or hypervigilance. Reiki can support them in slowly releasing tension, integrating new experiences and building trust.
Senior animals:
Reiki can support them during aging, loss of strength, pain and transitions, bringing comfort, calm and a sense of being held.
Companion animals (dogs, cats, small animals) who are particularly sensitive, anxious or emotionally affected by their humans’ lives.

What`s so special ?

Every animal is unique – and so is every Session.

Before we begin, I take time to understand:

your animal’s story and background (especially important for rescue animals)
its current situation, health status and emotional state
its species-specific and individual sensitivity (for example: birds and exotics often need much softer and slower work)

During the session:

I work intuitively and respectfully, always at your animal’s pace
your animal can move freely, lie down, sleep or walk away – nothing is forced
signs of relaxation may include yawning, sighing, stretching, blinking more softly, lying down, or simply a calmer presence

After the session, you’ll receive:

a short summary of the energetic impressions and observations
gentle suggestions for further support (for example: crystal or flower essence recommendations, rituals of calm, little daily moments to strengthen your bond)

If you wish, I may also briefly look at your animal’s astrological birth chart to get a feeling for its elemental tendencies and emotional needs. This is optional and only used to fine-tune the energy and choose supportive crystals or essences – always in a grounded, practical way.

What changes after a Session?

After a Cosmic Animal Reiki session, you may notice:

deeper relaxation and a softer, calmer presence
more peaceful breathing and body language
a shift in behavior – being more open, trusting, or settled
better ability to rest and sleep
a gentle softening of tension or reactivity
in some cases, a support in physical recovery or a smoother healing process after illness or surgery

For rescue and sensitive animals, changes can also look like:

being more willing to approach or stay in the same room
less startle response
being more curious and playful
slowly building trust with humans

Sometimes the shift is visible right away. Sometimes it unfolds over the next 2–3 days, as the energy continues to integrate.

Where does the Treatment take place?

On-site sessions (by arrangement, in your region)

The session takes place directly with the animal – at home or in the stable.
I can observe body language, posture and subtle signals.
Ideal for senior animals or animals that benefit from quiet physical presence.

Please note: For on-site sessions, a travel fee of 0,30 EUR/km will be charged.

Remote (distance) sessions

Particularly suitable for sensitive animals, birds, exotics and easily stressed rescue animals.
No transport, no clinic atmosphere, no new person entering the home.
Your animal can stay in a familiar, safe environment while receiving the energy.

Reiki works independent of time and place – many animals accept and integrate distance sessions very well.

Variations
